At FEW we have outstanding projects that are designed to take this world to new and better places. Some of our projects are ongoing, growing richer and more impacting over time. While others are on a 3 year plan that dictates a different set of goals, objectives and budget for each year, created to ensure that project is developed from conception to completion in just 3 years. FEW’s Projects Team makes certain every project, whatever type it may be, is an investment aimed at galvanizing, activating and enriching lives. The Library Cafe Ghana
The Library Cafe Ghana(LCG) is more than a project to FEW. LCG is a platform of excellence that highlights the greatness of African people and a vision for a world where we African people are recognized for the amazing human beings we are and are treated with the respect we are due. This platform provides an opportunity for us to tell the story of who we are, where we’ve been and where we are going with self-respect, honor and dignity.
LCG is a place where all people are welcome to come and share in our experiences of love and laughter, strivings, and struggles, highs and lows, as we discover together, the beauty of what it means to be African. 100 Black Authored Books for Children
The right books can sculpt the mind and character of a human being. That’s why FEW is providing 100 hand picked premium Black Authored Children’s Books, one projector and some extra special gifts, to 10 english-speaking schools, libraries and(or) reading rooms around the world. In addition, FEW will provide a series of online programming opportunities that include Read-Alouds, Author Talks, PenPals Across the World, Make & Take Workshops, plus optional lesson plans for teaching with texts and more.
Uplifting African Stories for Children
Our purpose? – to empower, uplift and heal African children everywhere, and to financially bless and promote African authors for their outstanding contributions. By giving our children a connection with African stories and images of people that look like them, authored by Africans who have first hand experiences similar to theirs, we foster unity, restore legacy and build community all at the same time. It’s awesome to think about the impact that can have on a people.
*WE DID IT! It took us a whole year to cultivate this collection, but we did it and it is absolutely brilliant. Cultivating this collection also accomplishes our first year goal for this project. All we need is a little help from you. There are 3 ways you can help:
We Need Your Support
1. VOLUNTEER: help us reach out to authors in our collection and get their commitment to this project.
2. SHARE: help us let the world know about this project and about FEW so they can get involved. We need all the help we can get!
3. DONATE: Now we’re ready for year 2 goals – duplicating the collection 10 times at a cost of $2,000 each, identifying our 10 recipients from the many candidates applying, contacting the authors to secure their involvement and transporting the collection to each of the 10 recipients.
We need your donation to help us reach our goal of $70,000
(10 collections x $2,000 each) + ($5000 transportation x 10 collections) = $70,000

FEW has a solution. We’re commissioning everyday people – moms, dads, grandmoms and granddads, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, friends, family- like you, to create a treasured memory, a gift, for our children and adults.
We’re asking 365 people to come read a story and sing a song in lullaby style, that FEW will video. Each video will be uploaded onto our FEW YouTube Channel and made accessible on our website for FREE. If you would like to get involved with this project, feel free to get in touch. 365 Bedtime Stories & Lullabies
Our children deserve sweet dreams and a good night’s sleep. Parents have busy schedules and busy lives that stretch way beyond bedtime. Often they miss out on reading to their children, or perhaps singing them a lullaby to let them know how much they are loved and cared for. Or maybe our children just need these stories and songs to give them that feeling of being safe and protected. In fact, some parents may have missed out on these valuable treasures themselves.
